The Wine Panel, January 2021: 2017 Malbec, Gamache Vineyard - 91 points.

Delicious! Great balance. This is a smooth, soft and juicy wine by winemaker Todd Threlkeld, sourced from the hand-selected Block 9 of Sagemoor's Gamache Vineyard, planted in 2003. This tiny boutique winery only produced 3 barrels of this gem, with a ripeness and elegance not common in most Northwest Malbec. Expect dark cherry, a bit of blueberry, and just enough acid to give the wine lift and be rich yet still light on its feet. www.thewinepanel.com
