ROSE'
ROSE'
Rosé is a white wine made from red grapes. T2 Rosé is always made by direct, whole-cluster press, rather than Saignée (a by-product of red wine making, typically more robust and deeply colored). Direct press rosé is typified by a cleaner palate that emphasizes aromatic qualities.

2023 Rose' of Counoise - Beyond the Pale
New Release! This is a light, dry rosé, perfect for warm breezy afternoons. Strawberry and watermelon fruit, peachy-floral aromatics, crisp acidity and juicy palate with a dry, mineral finish. 75% Counoise and 25% Grenache, single-vineyard from Lonesome Spring Ranch.

WHITE
WHITE
White wine, made from the less phenolic, less colored pulp of grapes, usually spends less time aging than reds, but can require more "work" than barrel-aged reds. Fining and filtering can have significant and positive effects on quality, whereas a white left to it's own wiles can be a little "wild".

Asterales - NV
Non-vintage, this new release is a combination of Roussanne-Marsanne from the '23 Harvest, and a barrel of Viognier-Marsanne from the '22 Harvest. This "split personality" results in a wine with freshness, complexity, and depth of character.

2023 Roussanne
Rare varietal, to date always a blending grape for our Rhone-style white blends, this sleek cuvee (still a blend - 20% Marsanne) is a lighter take. Awarded Double-Gold by '24 Northwest Wine Awards and '24 Great Northwest Wine, we've stuck to our traditionally high-quality vinification: Direct press, Barrel fermented and aged in neutral oak. 36 cases produced, abv 13.0%.

RED
RED
We age red wines from 20 to 36 months in barrel. Winter projects include blending trials to prepare the Rhones for bottling. This includes our signature Grenache-Syrah-Mourvèdre. With Syrah sourced from four different vineyards, we have a lot of decisions to make during these trials; which Syrah is right for our next GSM; do we like a Syrah from a single vineyard, or will a blend make a better Syrah?

2018 Cabernet Sauvignon
From unusually small berries, the 2018 Cab from Red Willow Vineyard is an intense, concentrated wine with a backbone of tannins that, three years in bottle, have begun to integrate enough to show an approachable wine. This is a wine that will relax over time, developing finesse and suppleness for years to come. 23 cases produced

2016 Rosé of Counoise (Sold Out)
Counoise is a less common French grape, usually a component of Rhone blends. With 25% Grenache, this dry rosé is perfect on a warm summer evening either by itself or with light, hot weather fare. Direct, whole-cluster press and maturation in stainless lead to delicate aromatics and a light, strawberry palate.
$15

2017 Rosé, Lonesome Spring Ranch (Sold Out)
Our Rosé is a dry blend of Rhone varietals, Counoise with 25% Grenache and a splash of Viognier. Softly floral nose, hints of watermelon and balanced acidity lead to a dry minerally finish. Seattle Tasting Room Magazine, Excellent (88-90 pts.) "Polished, and filled with zesty character underneath the beam of pure red berries, spring flowers and dried herb flavors that flow through the juicy, crisp finish." ABV 12.5%. 28 cases bottled.
$15

2016 Viognier Marsanne Rousanne (sold out)
This white blend is from Lonesome Spring Ranch in the Yakima Valley. Whole-cluster press and fermentation and aging in neutral oak barrel bring out the acids and temper the Viognier's robust aromatics. This blend is perfect with spicy foods.
$18

2017 Roussanne Marsanne Viognier (Sold Out)
This dry, aromatic wine is 43% Roussanne from Bosma Vineyard and 28% each Marsanne and Viognier from Lonesome Spring Ranch. Tropical fruit palate with lightly nutty aromatics and hints of ripe plantain. 20 Cases bottled. ABV 12.4%

2016 SGM (Sold Out)
A Syrah-dominant GSM, we bottled 12 cases of this blend in early October. True to our early tastings, this wine is delicious, a balance of fruit and structure. Pairs well with light spring menus.

★ 2016 Syrah
Sold out. Syrah blended from Jim Jamison's vineyard on Candy Mountain (overlooking Ritzville), and Bruce Zunser's Arianses vineyard in the Wahluke Slope AVA. The more tannic Jamison Syrah adds structure to the Arianses' fruit character. The complementary nature of these two Syrah's produces a blend with a balance of fruit and structure. This Syrah is on the brighter side of the genre, a hint of oak with fruit and light tannin to balance the acid notes. Ph 3.63, TA 6.15, ABV 13.75. 36% Jamison 62% Arianses 2% Grenache, Dead Poplar Vineyard
$24

2017 Syrah, Côte à Côte (sold out)
Single-vineyard Syrah from Bruce Zunser's Arianses Vineyard, Wahluke Slope AVA. Rich fruit and peppery dryness set to moderate tannin. Palate of blackberry and tart red apple on a subtle leather base. Pairs well with strong tomato-based stews or barbecue or leaner cuts of beef or pork.

Seattle Tasting Room Magazine: Editor’s Choice – Excellent (88-90 pts.). "Silky and polished, with restrained notes of gravel and spice that underpin the focused profile of plum and dark red fruit, giving way to black fruit accents on the rich finish. Shows nice balance between the structure and bright acidity." Ph 3.62, TA 6.1. ABV 14.4. 24 cases bottled.
